Well deserved. I remember thinking he was going to take a while to settle in the prem but he is a key team member now.

What a way to end a season by tying down all our best young players on long term deals they obviously believe in the club's ambitions and not the media bullshit, clearly they would not have signed if they thought poch was going to leave the future is bright and lilywhite.

I'm forever posting here that we have to give new players a season to accustom themselves to the Premiership, but Sanchez just seemed to slot right in. He's prodigiously talented in every way. At present, the besetting sin in his game is that he overestimates his considerable pace and gets caught the wrong side of an attacker. But he's 21: he can sort that out.

If we have one defender who has the capacity to achieve Ledley-esque quality, Sanchez is the one.

Means goodbye to Toby, but this kid belies his age and experience. Outstanding season, and worth every penny and more of his transfer fee. A real find by the Club.
