People are being ott I think, Clyne was very good today and I do t think Bertrand was terrible either so it's not like those changes really weakened the team. Kane and Sterling rightly went to the bench imo, Alli was OK in the first 2 games but hardly undroppable, and most people didn't want Rooney in the team anyway. So I don't see the major issue with him making those changes. Just didn't get the early goal that would have opened the game up completely.

We all know how this ends... face Portugal in 1/4s, Ronaldo and Pepe wind up Alli or Rooney who gets sent off, goes to penalties and someone misses, fated to be parodied by the football media for 30 years.

Yawn.

Gave up at half time to watch Game of Thrones, I was that confident it was going to be 0-0.

Hodgson HAS to go as soon as this is over. He's so many talented and in form players at his disposal, yet we keep getting served up this crap.
Wow you must've been bored

Clyne and Bertrand were absolutely miles away from how well Walker and Rose have performed. They offered a couple moments first half but that's it. Dog shit players. Especially Bertrand.

The sooner Hodgson fucks off the better. Another generation of talent is going to be wasted by a stupid **** fossil who doesn't actually know how to manage a team. Goes from relegation dog scraps with WBA to managing one of the purportedly top footballing nations in the world.

Unlikely to be able to face Portugal until the final now, so not something any of us need to worry about!

I thought the same but having looked at groups that's unlikely. Would need Portugal and Iceland to both win with GD remaining the same.

Yawn.

Quite clearly we need to get an Aussie in, they seem to be the only people who can get anything out of our prima donnas....

I just realised that If England won this we could be like West Ham with 1966, and say forever more that Tottenham won the Euros 2016.

Clyne was probably England's best player tonight, alongside Dier. There's no way he was miles away from Walker. Bertrand was ok, not as good as Rose but he wasn't the reason England didn't win tonight.

God Roy's interviews are painful 'never thought he'd see an England team dominate three games in a row like this'

Christ we've drawn with Russia / Slovakia and got a 92nd min win against bloody Wales

Those two facts aren't mutually exclusive :p

This is what domination is for England these days.

It's pretty obvious and worrying that Roy doesn't know what his best team is.

Totally agree about Hodgson but there really isn't a generation of talent
