So today's the day. Not sure the last time I was so "hyped" for a match, maybe the 2nd NLD last season?

Not only am I desperate for England to progress but I don't want our lads to play poorly and bexome the tournament scapegoats.

Aside from that there is also the prospect of another home nation playing and the rivalry of Germany vs Poland which given how Germany weren't amazing the other night could be a brilliant game.

We really need some football too talk about, I'm getting fed up about hearing about tear gas every time the news comes on. It's all set to be a cracking game let's hope we edge it.

I think we will get the most joy attacking them down the flanks, it will be interesting to see if wales still continue with the wing backs and back 3.

Think Wales will win, they have nothing to lose and will play with freedom.

Hodgson couldn't inspire any team IMHO, he just seems to suck the life and hope out of everything he touches, and that will be the case again today.

I think if we start how we did against Russia we will create chances so we just need to good they fall to Kane this time not Lallana.

I'd take a draw which probably says more about our current standing that anything else.

By the way, whilst we, as in 5 spurs players, are there... Can someone please tell Gareth he's welcome to come back home now please. His mum and x thousand fans miss him and it's past his Real Madrid time.

I believe England will win today and I hope it's the Spurs connection that does it, so 1-0, Gareth Bale own goal.

Wales have been chucking it and in particular Bale, for the first time ever I hope his body is taken over by Space Jam Monsters.

Booked a half-day off weeks ago ready for today - so glad I did now. I'm so excited to watch all the games today - bricking it for NI vs Ukraine as we simply have to get a win - England vs Wales I'm torn really, just hope its a good match.

Just a bit of pre-pre-pre match music to get the blood flowing.

If I was at work today they would never let me watch it either, thankfully I'm not!

I always feel in big tournaments the England players look like they have the weight of the world on their shoulders and it shows in their play.

I am not sure what the answer is to change that, but they rarely bring their qualifying form into tournaments

Yes we really need to beat Ukraine

I also don't understand why all football fans didn't book at least a half day off to watch the game, surely there are enough non football fans about to cover the work

England were all over Russia and could have walked away with a 3-0 win.

If they play the same way but create a few more chances I can imagine it will be a comfortable win.

We just need our chances to fall to Harry rather than to Adam Lallana!
