He's well up there though. I think everyone knows it's Messi and Ronaldo top but Bale is in the host of players you would consider for 3rd.

Based on last season Suarez shits on any other player in contention, including Bale.

Debate for another thread but imagine how Bale would do with Messi and Neymar instead of having to battle Ronaldo.

2pm KO is a nightmare, doesn't feel like a real match. I just wanna sink tinnies, I'm struggling to get hyped here

A lot of those players are out-producing him though. Neymar, Suarez, Lewandowski etc

Got to go pick my daughter up from school at half 3 which limited my ability to have a drink.

Leaving work in 5 to go straight to the pub. Never usually that bothered for the England games, but the Spurs connection and British rivalry have got me proper buzzing for this. Pics from my mates out there is making me seriously regret not bothering with it though.

Ah well, Come on England!

Wales has a top 3 player in the world on their team who can single handedly get something out of this game. Especially since England is managed by Woy.

He may well play well. He may well score but we may still win. Both things can happen, which seems to be forgotten by the pundits. As much as I rate bale I'm really not that scared.

Agree regarding Woy though obviously.

I really hope Kane has a great game. Hope he scores in a English win & stamp his no9 status. Too many people doubting him after 1 average performance - incidentally that was still better than most other big strikers in this tournament.

If we play like we did against Russia I think we'll win, that was one of the standout team performances of the tournament so far........ This Wales team can be got at, get in behind them and there are goals to be had and I think they somewhat strangled the win in their first game. The only problem I can see is the familiarity between a lot of the players, this is like a local derby and that can sometimes be a bit of a leveller, it could become a scrappy 'british' game as opposed to a 'proper' international game.........

I agree and that's why it's a big game for Sterling. Probably the only reason why he hasn't been dropped.

Will be in work with no access to a TV........anyway, COYW!!
:p

I'm at work and my cruel and inhumane boss has banned people watching it. Think it will be a draw.

My boss is the same, not even acknowledged the game, the twat. Fortunately I have managed to sort a meeting

Serves you all right for having a job!

I just finished a belter of an interview for a new job so I'm off to the pub.... just thought you might want to know

Rahim Sterling : 24 games 2 goals
Adam Lallana : 24 games 0 goals

Thats the problem for England last game. Chances fell to these two instead of Alli or Kane. Sterling & lallana has to start scoring else they are a real burden for everyone

Oliver Kahn praising Pochettino and our young players immensely on German TV right now. Means he'll say how much they've disappointed him so far at half time.

They don't need to score if they play the right ball. Issue was Kane et all. Were seemingly creating all the space and chances for these two, rather than vice versa.

That's why I think Sturridge should be in that starting line up
