I'd say the simmilarities with Viduka extend beyond the wasteline .

Ashton is finding himself being compared to Sheringham a lot recently. He has that economy of movement that marks him out as a naturally intelligent player with a footballing brain. No, he's not in Berb's class yet but if he stays fit and keeps improving maybe in the future he'll be the sort of attacking fulcrum that could do a similar job.
