Who was the striker. I could do that if it was Teddy Sheringham. Actually, I couldn't unless Teddy was in a coma.

Mullers

"I hope he can be good competition for walker. He's needed some competition for sometime."

I hope he can replace Walker.

In case he don't "make it" at Spurs he could always try out for the UK sprint team
Seriously, Spurs most have had some of the faststed ever EPL players in DeAndre, Walker, King, Bale, Lennon.

nice. finding the negatives already in a young player who has signed but not even pulled on a shirt for us yet. Stay classy spurs fans.

Philadelphia Union are my American team and I watched this game in full Tuesday night/Wed morning.

He is a really, really poor defender who is really quick.

I was skeptical when we first signed him, because from memory I didn't think he was great. But this Cup Final really confirmed my thoughts.

This clip actually really sums him up well - his pace redeems a lot of his own mistakes.

And, to put things in persepctive, the lad is no quicker than Walker or Lennon say.

His fitness was a disgrace too - he actually made a mistake in the last minute of normal time and Philly hit the post from it.

Terrible signing.

The Philly right back is better.

So he's an American Walker. Makes mistakes but has the speed to make up for them.

I don't mean that as a dig, I like Walker. If I'm honest I'll be over the moon if he turns out as good but I still get the feeling he's a commercial signing.

Get him playing a few under 21 games when he first comes over and see how he fares

He is 100% a commercial signing.

Yeah, it looks that way, doesn't mean to say it won't work out but it sounds like you've seen him more than me (which isn't hard as I've only seen him play in the WC) so I'll take you're word about his defending but will obviously make my own mind up when I see him in a spurs shirt.

He looks like he has some good raw attributes, let's hope Poch can coach him into a good, solid all round RB.

The Union website has the full game on their official page if you want to see him in action over 120 mins!

It's Christian Maidana, an Argentinian attacking midfielder with the brain of Teddy.

And the pace of Siggy.

I usually just sit in the back ground and read what others have to say but this has been bothering me for some time. If Yedlin was a purely commercial signing then the person who made that decision should be fired. Believe it or not Americans are fairly football savvy and don't just run out to buy a jersey because it has an Americans name on it. In fact they are FAR more likely to buy one with a European player or at least South American players name. Now if you wanted to call us band-wagoners I might agree as we do have the propensity for that. I myself have been a Spurs supporter since seeing Hoddle play in the early 80's.
