I think we need to reconcile ourselves to the idea that we won't be getting much out of this season. I feel we should keep our expectations low, because Ramos won't have the opportunity to make that much of an impact until he gets a proper preseason in which to institute his gameplan fully.

Until then, I think it's a case of hanging on and doing the best we can. In truth, I've presonally written this season off. It would be great to win something or to qualify for Europe again, but for me doing so would be a bonus rather than an expectation.

They are a very hard list of fixtures.
I just cannot see us getting many points at all.
Every team we play is of a better standard than Birmingham and with those injuries that we have, we are just cannon fodder for the teams.
Lets ope our defenders can start playing some football soonish eh!

Dear Santa,

All i want for Christmas is for Spurs to win a few games and get their heads above water. It isn't fair Santa, being a Spurs supporter has its ups and downs but this is crazy. My long term health is at risk, i wake up in the morning and the first thing i think about is our next game and current league position. i worry before i go go to bed at night. When i watch a game my heart could pop. I even think i am starting to get depressed, my friends at work all laugh at me and outside of work they taunt me. Why Santa?

Why Santa? Why when we have much better players than the most teams in the premiership do we struggle. Why Santa when we finished 5th last season and nearly played in the champions league do we fester at such lowly heights in the premiership. Why Santa do I even have to entertain the though of relegation.

Santa, why do man city, portsmouth, blackburn and the likes, who would do anything for a support like ours, with the players we have and the money we have got, why do they linger above us? Even Newcastle, who look terrible, manage to beat us. Santa, why do we play such great attacking football and still get beaten. Why do we look like we could skin most teams we play but yet make life hard for ourselves.

Surely we deseve better Santa, us suppoters cram the lane for every match - we are full even on thursday night when our competitors are doing well to get 10,000. We pay top dollar for a ticket Santa.

Santa, cant you please sprinkle some of your lucky fairy dust over the squad this Christmas. Please let some long range shots after 80 minutes hit the post or go wide. Please let crap strikers stop scoring against us when they only touch the ball once in a match. Cant you make Kaboul and Chimbonda stop giving ther ball away, or even make Berbatov run for more than five seconds, or Darren Bent to score a few?

This is all I want for Christmas Santa. We have a tough run of fixtures in December, please let us win most, pleasssssseeeee. I have been a good chap all year after all. Anyway Santa thanks and good bye.

Yours Hopefully

Is it really just me who has seen the vast improvements in Zokora lately?!

Its only because he has been taken out of the firing line, that is central midfield, on a few occasions now. He seems to do "OK" in defence but then he should have blocked the third goal against Birmingham the other day. He should have done better against Aalborg for thier last goal and also against west spam for thier goal... I think he is a liability whatever way you look at it, even if he has improved slightly, it is from being an awful central midfielder who is endlessly going missing from games and runs around like a headless chicken to being a very average centre back..

Huddlestone has an excellent footballing brain and can position himself 100X better than zokora and can pass superbly even when under pressure. The other thing is that he generally wil always try and pass forwards where as zokora always ends up passing sideways or backwards...

Zokora definately improved though. I like him, although we could do better. He is still a bit of an enigma, in terms of what he is actually supposed to contribute to the team.

Dont forget he was bought to replace carrick.....

Remember what carrick used to do so well.. Pass forward and directly. Mop up in front of the back four and put in good challenges on the edge of the box... Does zokora do any of this?

i dont think the club ever intended to bring him in to replace Carrick:neutral:. I think this was just the media again. He was bought before Carrick was sold.

:cry:for a professional footballer he has got the worst shooting i have ever seen.

anyway back to the december fixtures.........
