Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is 'pushing for a move to Paris Saint-Germain', according to Fabrizio Romano via the Daily Star. However, Spurs are 'not convinced' over letting Alli go, despite the England international playing just four times in the Premier League this season.

Let him go on loan and make the final decision in the summer. He won't get much game time this season under José anyway.

He would if covid struck. I think that's probably the hesitation spurs end. But I can see why he would like to go there.

Maybe my memory is patchy but it certainly feels like Dele was always on the team sheet under Poch, even when his form dropped.
Maybe mine is too then. The last I remember of Dele in Pochs plans was playing him wide in the diamond he was having us play.

Just on this article -If PSG do really want him, then with all their multitude of star football players, there clearly seems to be a spot for him in the squad out there. Maybe it's the old 'change of scenery' cliche angle of all of this.

I think Mourinho wants the money from a sale and is pushing Dele out to get it.

If Alli really isn’t in his plans then he is one player we could get a good fee for if the right club comes in for him.

I don't have a problem with it. Only issue is lack on non HG squad spaces although I think there might be room for 1 more.

I believe we have room for 1 more non homegrown player.

Selling won’t be easy for many clubs right now. If we get a good offer for Alli then we might be able to find the purchase of someone like Sabitzer.

Or maybe a deal for a PSG cast off like Paredes or Gueye?

I'm thinking that with is relative young age still, it's more than likely that Dele will outlive Mourinho at Tottenham and see yet another set of managers coming and going. So from that perspective, keeping him would make sense. But I'm not very invested either way as I think it's 3+ years since Dele was top quality.

He seems to have lacked focus for a good while now (probably since his first big pay deal) and he's obviously clashed with Mourinho. I don't think he likes being told and Mourinho loves doing the telling so it's not a good match. He also doesn't fit the system at all well with the other options we have. If we can sell and strengthen at the same time I'm all for it.

Yeah I agree. And in addition, Mourinho doesn't really like fancy technique, and Dele doesn't have great technique for doing simple things with accuracy.
