Played well and showed good maturity to play most of the game on a yellow.

Still lacking a bit of confidence in front of goal, but this is his first real sustained poor form since he arrived so for someone so young it will be a test for him this season and I’m sure he’ll come out of it stronger.

He deserves credit today for his commitment and focus, in a toxic, vitriolic environment and against a team of players determined to wind him up. It was always a risk to let him stay on after half time by Poch, but it worked out and will have done Dele’s Confidence a world of good. Let’s hope he can kick on from here.

Yeah he made some fantastic runs into the box in space as well. He is lacking confidence but also last season players were spotting his runs and getting the ball to him. I’m really not worried about him. He’ll come good again soon and start banging them in.

  • Alli provided a Premier League assist to Kane for the 13th time - only one player has assisted another more often for Tottenham in Premier League history (Darren Anderton to Sheringham, 20).

Alli - yellow within first 10mins. A lot of players with his temperament would get sent off particularly with the media circus recently but he had the maturity to stay on the pitch. Speaks a lot about Poch's coaching and Alli as a player despite the stick he gets.

Burnley we're going for him and There we're a lot of challenges or 50/50s he pulled out of that he could have been sent off if he'd lost. Didn't give the ref another decision to make all game, apart from awarding us a penalty.

Very well played Alli. Respect.

Regret drppping you from my starting XI in SpursCommunity for today, I was wrong.

He deserves a lot of credit tonight, everyone and the media was waiting for him to make a mistake and he didn't. I don't even think his challenge was that bad to warrant a yellow, but the way he saw the game while carrying a booking was top class.

I really like Burnley as a team, and I think their fans are a nice bunch, but I was really happy to see Alli shut them up as he does not deserve the abuse that has been thrown at him recently.

He is a phenomenal player and although for the most part he has had a bad season, he did really well tonight.

His mental strength is what makes him such an asset, he never shirks responsibility which is such a massive thing for a young footballer.

Superb today. Great to see him playing so well. Could tell from the first minute he was back in form.

Looking like he's out of his slump now. He has been great recently. And for all the criticism he has, rightly, received this season, he's still managed to produce an impressive 8 goals and 9 assists in 24 games in all competitions so far. Maybe Poch was justified in persevering with him when most of us wanted him dropped.

He's back in form which is great. What is worrying is his demeanour. Fingers crossed that improves as his form does.

The fact that he is performing well now doesn't mean that he shouldn't have been dropped. We are sitting 5th at the moment after several sub-par results, and squad management may or may not have played a part in us not performing better so far.

Its likely to be two fingers up at the media or making a point to the fans who've argued that he should have been dropped.

Hopefully its either of those rather than something more concerning.

For his two long pass assists both Son and Kane didn't need to control the ball but only took one touch, the shot!

Precision accuracy and pace on the ball.
