Very Immature of him tonight, although before tonight's match I'd been thinking he'd improved his temperament a lot compared to last season.

This will be another learning curve for him but one that will ultimately benefit him in the long run.

Just really annoyed he'll be missing for potentially the first 3 group stage matches of next season's Champions League (if we qualify).

Some 'supporters' clapped him off after getting sent off tonight. LOL

What planet are these people on, unbelievable!!

He had the cheek to say he got the ball after he got sent off. Young man so hopefully he learns from it but he does need a bollocking after that.

Said since I first saw him play for us that he is a c***. I love him in terms of what he can do and seems like a really fun person but he is just a prick on the field. Whether it's needlessly nudging people into the boards when the ball rolls out, trying to get in fights, etc. Just not a good attitude - big difference between the alpha leader type of attitude in terms of being physical and getting at the other team versus just being a prick.

Today is one of the only times it cost him. Hope he learns from it. Can't imagine the team will be happy with him.

I see more and more of Gerrard in him every time he plays. I'm talking temperament, attitude, drive etc, not his actual playing style.

Rooney had 7 reds, Gerrard 8. I am sure Alli will get similar figures in his career. Players who, especially when young, need that edge to their game to make them so good.

Its nearly one year ago he did something as stupid against Fiorentina. Luckily for us the ref didn’t sent him off and we progressed. So seems to be a very slow learning curve.

Alli was a twat and cost us a place in the Europa Cup, but he will learn. He does have that edge that pretty much all the top players have

Impetuousness and a hot temper goes hand in hand with youth and talent. Pure David Beckham v Argentina from Alli last night. He let us down, and he'll know it this morning after the tanning he'll have got from Poch last night, and the punishing training session he'll undoubtedly put him through today.

I doubt Poch would have said much to him last night. He'll have known. Probably the shame in front of him team-mates would have been enough.

It definitely effected the outcome of the game but his team mates could have helped him get out of jail afterwards by hitting the target more than 3 times all game.

It was a bad tackle but I'm not going to castigate him. Best thing Poch can say to him is, get out there Sunday and put in an amazing performance and grab a couple of goals.

There will be a media witch hunt now though and refs in England will try and make a name for themselves by sending him off over the next few weeks so he will have to be careful.

It was a moronic tackle and the Belgian lad was lucky to walk away. Dele's reaction was almost as embarrassing as some of the crowd who clapped dele off and booed the lad when he got to his feet. I was in the back row and it looked a shocker from there.

He cost us last night, he'll know that and he'll learn from it. He's a nob, but he's our nob so let's get behind him!

Shooting was poor, as it is most of the time we are not good at it, but the game tuned on his petulance ... by the way tackle it never was just a lunge at the player. Also he was not the only Spurs player who lay on the ground looking for something from the ref while the game passed them by. This does not endear players to anyone and puts pressure on their team mates.

So Dele needs to take his blame, take his medicine and learn from it. Ten men chasing the game, putting in the great effort they did will leave a team open to counter attacks, will lead to hasty decisions at times and players more tired by the last ten minutes. Top players learn from mistakes

He said "I went for the ball" I believe, I think he was as mortified that it happened as the rest of us.

People need to calm down. Had Alli come steaming in from a distance away and made a tackle that high then he would deserve the kicking that he's getting from a lot of people but this was nothing more than reckless, it happens. His deliberate punch on Jacob or the kick out at the fiorentina player were more calculated than last night's challenge.

Granted, he was frustrated at the point of when this happened cos he felt he was fouled first but his touch was heavy and he jumped out for the ball whilst falling backwards and his momentum as much as anything caused the high contact. Make no mistake, it was absolutely a red card and Alli should be very dissapointed in himself but I just don't think we need to start stringing him up like he's some sort of Ben Thatcher type of dirty player. The kid is 20 years old and this will likely be a good lesson for him. He's been far better with his temper this season until last night and I still think it was more careless than him being angry.
