Turned back the clock a bit today - Classic Dele.

Let's hope he now reverts to norm.
Haha as a 21 year old turning it back to when he was 20?

I genuinely think some people forget how young he is. His talent and potential is outrageous, but inconsistency you get with any young player is still going to be there.

Indeed.

BT Sport highlighted the fact that it was pretty much 5 years to the day that Dele made his debut for MK Dons as a 16-year-old substitute against Cambridge City in the first round of the FA Cup.

The French went back 6 years for a slightly different take...

What I'm trying to say is that's the sort of game he'd have had when he first signed for us. Assertive first touch, full of running and a thorn in every opposition player's side.

Age doesn't matter - he's been playing for 5 years.

Age doesn't matter? Surely, you're joking. The amount of time he's been playing at a senior level is irrelevant. Playing experience doesn't affect all the various character traits, good and bad, that you get with any 21 year old.

Just knew he’d score tonight, must have effected him missing the first 3 CL game bet he’s been waiting for this one, was class today. He will pick up form again now, too good a player not to.

Presenting MTV award tonight

Brand dele is certainly on full steam.Of course the other footballer there was Pogba.Considering He’s Just pulled out of an England squad probably not the best move. Not Saying an “injured” player has to sit indoors for 2 weeks. But being at such a high profile event 2 days before you were supposed to be playing for England doesnt look great.

I hope not. Mendes is a greedy bastard who's only interests in football is money, power, money, power.

Tottenham star Dele Alli holds talks with Jorge Mendes as the agent looks to add midfielder to growing list of high profile clients
  • Dele Alli's family have spoken to high profile football agent Jorge Mendes
  • The Portuguese agent is hopeful of adding Alli to his Gestiftue agency
  • Mendes clientele include the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho
  • The influential agent is renowned for getting his clients blockbuster transfers

Jorge Mendes, the agent whose clients include Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho, has held formal talks with a member of Dele Alli’s family about adding the Spurs and England midfielder to his Gestifute agency.

Alli’s contract with Impact Sports Management — fronted by highly-respected agent Rob Segal — does not expire until midway through next year, meaning there is no rush.

Nevertheless, the meeting with Mendes is an intriguing development considering the agent’s close links with Real Madrid, who are keeping close tabs on Alli’s development.

Alli is known to fancy a move to the Bernabeu at some point in his career and being a Mendes client would certainly help facilitate any deal.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is in a position of strength, however, with Alli’s current £50,000-per-week deal not due to expire until 2022. Indeed, plans are in place to extend that with a huge pay hike before the end of this season.

And Levy would demand a high price, well in excess of the £89.7m Manchester United paid Juventus for Paul Pogba.

For now, Alli is focusing on being fit for Saturday’s north London derby with Arsenal after a hamstring injury kept him out of England’s games against Germany and Brazil. Harry Kane will be available after a minor knee problem.

The whole Alli having Mendes as his agent I just don't buy. He doesn't manage any other english players does he? Culturally we are just so different to how he operates. Seems strange thats all.
