What a great time to be a young player on loan or still at Spurs, knowing that if you are good enough and impress you now have a realistic chance to make it in the first team rather than being pushed aside by us buying a mediocre foreign player for millions who has as much heart and passion for the club as I have for a mid table team in the Swedish league.
This HAS to help improve them as players, make them strive harder and make our first team squad stronger surely?
Won't hurt the national team either.
Obviously there are times to buy quality imports but is that what PL clubs have been doing all these years?
I don't think so.
I feel there's been a change in thinking generally throughout the league this season with Southampton and us leading the way.
Weird given the increase in tv money but a welcome change and I feel a correct one as well.
