Never going to happen at this time

I'm sure Levy would want a lot more than £50m too

I also doubt Dele would be interested in a move away currently, much less one to Paris. It's not like a Madrid or a Barca are coming in for him with the allure to turn his head

My only concern is...... coming from such a credible source as the Daily Mirror there surely is no smoke without fire ;)

Edit - amusing faces added to stop the joke being taken for a serious statement some how:whistle:

Must be the start of silly season, you have used words like credible and Daily Mirror mirror in the same sentence.

Are you serious?

That was the point of my statement, I thought everyone would easily recognise the humour/sarcasm

I'm actually surprised that, considering we play United this weekend, it's not them that he's been linked to.

For what it's worth he's not worth £50m.

If Bolasie went for £25, Sissoko £30m, £50m for a 20 year-old phenom doesn't sound too far off really. He's comparable to Sane, who went for £37m - but with more experience.

Yeah true when you look at other prices.

I suppose what I mean is that if I had £50m to spend, I suspect there are better players to spend it on. Although you do actually forget how young Alli is which would also push his price up.

I think the fact we watch him week in, week out means we see and perhaps overfocus on his shortcomings. But every young player has shortcomings. He's 20 and affects big games with goals and assists. That's gold-dust, and I'm not surprised the likes of PSG would be interested.

If we sold Alli, I'd want a new transfer record.
I think levy would want something similar

He may not be one of the world's best players right now but at his age and with the potential he's already shown there's no doubt his transfer value would be somewhere around that ball park

There's no way he's going anywhere anytime soon

No club will pay what we would demand at this time

obviously not.....
I'm actually shocked you thought it was a serious statement

I put these dots ..... in front of it to empathise the joke

The point of the statement was to rubbish the rumour because the Mirror is anything but a credible source

Not only that, but as England's brightest young star as well as his natural charisma he's extremely marketable which only makes him more valuable. Wouldn't be surprised if he is offered mega sponsorship money from everywhere when his current Adidas contract is up.

He seems a nice boy when he is off field as well, doing charity calls and stuff.
