Only 20 so lots of time to improve.

Think we may have missed the boat on him though as sanctioning 22m for Gray sounds like too much of a risk.

Said elsewhere that I don't rate him. Bases his game on hopeful crosses and shots from distance. Never seems to manage to move into genuinely dangerous areas before getting shots off.
If he's unsettled due to lack of playing time, going to Spurs would not be wise.

£22m was roughly what we paid for Son. 3 goals and 6 assists last season - potential to develop but right now flatters to deceive. I can see us going for Gray if Lemar doesn't work out.

We need inside forwards in attacking midfield as more often than not the way we play is to create a 'horsehoe' around the opposition and pull them out of shape by passing the ball around to create openings. The pacy winger is only really useful on the counter. Lemar would be better for us as he's good in the transition and has a decent left peg. If we buy Gray, we'll probably invert him on the left and achieve very little?

I'm a big fan and can see huge potential in his game. He looked like the only likely to do anything for Leicester when he would come off the bench.

Under Poch's coaching I feel like he could be brilliant and would certainly swap him for N'Koudou at this point if given the choice.

He's not worth 22m though, not by any means. They bought him from 3.5m so he's arguably only worth 12m now, although I did think that Leicester got him very cheap at the time.

We only paid five mil for Dele so would he only be worth about £20 mil now?

Been linked with him, half of SC think he's pants. I'd say he's nailed on.

Smoke me a kipper and stick it in ITK Read Only.

For clarity I should say that that's not cryptic and I'm not itk, as anyone will tell you. Sorry if you don't know me and got confused. It does have all the signs of a classic Spurs signing though.

Not especially impressed with Gray. He has quick feet and a decent cross but I just don't think he has the quality we require.

If we could pick him up on the cheap and develophim without any pressure then by all means make a bid.

But he will be sold for a very high fee and the expectation level would deem him a failure while still settling.

You know this is true, but I really hope it isn't.

I've watched him a few times and being sat on Leicester's bench is about his level.

Would now be a good time to mention that my hit rate for us signing players when I start the thread is 66.666%
