To get the measure of Mousa Dembele, forget his statistics and listen to the people who know him best. Dembele is due to complete a £9million move from Tottenham to Chinese club Guangzhou today.

Good luck to him and thanks for everything he has given time to reinvest those funds.

Possibly my favourite player of all time

No

He is mine - go get someone else...

I love him, like what a player and will not forget his performance against Inter, possibly the best performance particularly from a Spurs midfielder I have seen

Such a shame he didn't get the send off he deserves. Would have been a 30 minute standing ovation.

Ridiculous. He must be crocked, or this is the worst thing they could have done at this point in the season. Why couldn't it have waited until the end of the season FFS?!

The last time I felt like this was when Ledley retired.

Hopefully he returns to say goodbye to fans. He deserves one last send off

A good player that had potential to be a great but just lacked quality in final third. A very good servant and had very big boots to fill when modric left and did a good job.

I genuinely believe the loss of dembele has cost us massively towards the end of the season. He is exactly they type of player the club needs to buy in the summer. Selling him when he did was a mistake imo, all to cash in a few quid.

I don't think selling him was a bad decision but not bringing anybody in was a massive gamble that so very nearly backfired. We seem to have miraculously got away with it but what I wouldn't give to have him playing in Amsterdam tonight.
