I remember us starting an FA Cup third round match against Man Utd with those two upfront. It was a truly hilarious experience.

We've had quite alot of very crap youngsters recently havn't we?

We really need the likes of Dervitte and Pekhart to come good at some stage. In the modern game if you're not pushing for a first team spot by the time you're 21 then it tends to go downhill from there.

What are you trying to say? Chris Hughton, who's past has included both reserve and youth coach over the years has not helped develop our youngsters? In fact turning most into walking jokes? And letting the ones that had promise (Crouch) leave for peanuts when he was his coach?

Surely not.

last news from Dorian Dervite. After several weeks of individual training, running, shooting...,he should train normally with the reserve squad starting next monday. We should see him in the team within few weeks.

Then we can play French defence...

Chimbonda.....Kaboul....Dervitte.....Ekotto

i wish all the best for our youngsters ..

I have a big hope to see Dervitte, Ifill, O'Hara, Rose, Taarabt, Pakhart & Dixon getting better and get their chance to shine with Spurs.

MJ said that Pakhart can be our Rooney .. but never was on the bench .. looks interesting ... although he looks like good in the air 'new Koller' as Mr. AlexSkree said.

Dervitte looked good when playing in that League cup game. Got high hopes for him. May soften the blow of Ledders jacking it all in in a couple of years.

Pekhart reminds me of Peter Crouch. Not much to whet my appetite there.

Pekhart and Barcham didn't play for the reserves on Tuedasy at West Ham. No idea why not.

Good to see Dervite is on his way back. I thought he did well in his one first-team game against Port Vale in the Carling Cup last season. He's been out since January, poor lad.

Quite a collection of French speakers at the club now, with Chimbonda, Kaboul, Dervite, Ekotto, Malbranque, Zokora, Taarabt and even Tainio from his days with Auxerre.

Thanks a lot Guy - and our best best wishes to Dervitte -

I really hope to see him in our first team at some point next season - had he not been injured I think he would have played a few games due to our defensive crisis last season -

here's hoping he's back better than ever
