Just read that. I'd take Moura all day long. If its pace we are after he fits the bill. Have no idea how much truth is in this though?

Tweet came from French journo who said Poch turned him down as he is not good enough! Said he would prefer DiMaria but he is too expensive (not clear if that means too much for us or for PSG to let him go).

@Nabil_Djellit
Info : #Lucas a été proposé à #Tottenham. #Pochettino le juge insuffisant et il préfère #DiMaria mais trop cher... #PSG

So... we are confident enough we have someone good coming in to turn down Moura?!

Mauricio Pochettino does not believe that Lucas Moura is good enough, and so cast that option aside, preferring Angel di Maria.

Tottenham’s board however appear to have decided that the Argentine is too expensive.
Well thats a shock !
Realistically isn't he on about £250kpw?

Could di Maria be the player who we've been told: "Big decision for Levy"?

As we are crying out for some creativity and not much time left, I'd do a desperate-manager and take either :D

This is what makes the link sound like random bollocks. Di Maria's wages are astronomical and was never going to be affordable whereas Poch doesn't rate Moura? Yh right, he'd be an excellent signing.

France Football have just said that we've been both Di Maria and Moura.

This is the article

Lucas Moura offered to PSG
PSG have offered both Lucas Moura and Angel di Maria to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, with varying responses, according to France Football.

Mauricio Pochettino does not believe that Lucas Moura is good enough, and so cast that option aside, preferring Angel di Maria.

Tottenham’s board however appear to have decided that the Argentine is too expensive.

So we were offered a chance to sign them both and turned it down.

If PSG need to sell for FFP, and have a good relationship with Levy I can see them footing some wages.

IS FFP only about fees or is it a more holistic evaluation of revenues and expenses?

On the list of clubs around Europe we should be looking to build a good relationship with, PSG are near the top.

Looks like Levy has successfully not pissed them off yet, which in itself is a minor miracle.
