I think if there is a wing forward coming in, it really has to be from PSG. Would explain all the secrecy and also the wait - if and when the Mbappe deal goes through I expect it to go a bit mental as they balance the books.

Weren't PSG trying to have the obligation to buy next season not included in the loan contract as otherwise it would count towards this season's expenditure?

Apparently we did try for Lucas from PSG! Was too late for a work permit according to SSN. Surely we could have taken him on loan or provisionally signed and waited? That's odd.

SSN said tried but failed because no time to get work permit ?

Doesn't make sense as he could sign subject to a work permit surely ?

Not enough appearance in National Team recently? (Unlike Aurier who is a regular starter, and davinson who plays for NT recently)

Would still be worth a punt? Played plenty for PSG last year and still only 25, could still have legs..... maybe.

Cant be that strict surely. If Richarlison and Foyth can get work permit's then how can Lucas Moura with 36 caps not get one. Would be ridiculous.
