I don't normally start threads, but i thought this kind of deserved one of it's own considering he is the figure of much debate.

I thought he was outstanding tonight. He was absolutely everywhere. fair enough his long range passing game was as it usually is, but he played out of his skin.

Raise your hand if you have called him shit :hello:

Raise your hand if you think he wasn't tonight :hello:

He definitely had one of his better performances. I will give him three days off from any criticism :)

Some of his closing down/tackles were ok, but his distribution is prosaic, predictable and inaccurate. At one point I really thought he had true potential, but he's moved into a phase of severe mediocrity that I can't seem him coming out of it.

He tried very hard today.Obviously lacks any real ability..but he never gave up. It's very difficult when you have to do the running for 2 men(hudd wasn't even playing)

Zokora was probably one of the best on the pitch tonight, but Huddlestone was awful tonight, and that did not help Zokora a lot. We need a fully composed midfield where all play each other good.

Zokora and the midfield talk is the least of our problems...Robinson was a disgrace and Dawson has to be played with an experience defender.

I don't understand why Martin Jol has check mated himself with the selection politics of certain players... I said it before and i;ve say it again

Robinson will get Jol the saaaaaaack

him & hudd as a pairing were not good enough - though Hudd was poor so DZ can escape some of the criticism - neither are as good as JJ

Just got back.

Zokora was shocking going forward and passing, but great at tracking back as a last man at times. He has an amazing ability to wait long enough for all his options to disappear before turning back the way he came.

The guys clearly not a CM and should be a left back at another club somewhere.

Huddlestone was cracking in the first 20mins, spraying balls from deep & generally dictating the play from the half way line, though at 3/4-1 down he was playing like a beaten man, and that's not what you need
