Would make much more sense for them to loan him out for a year which clearly won't be us.

Can see him going to France, scoring plenty which means he either then goes back to Liverpool and into the first team or is sold for a higher price. Win/win for them I'd say.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Hard to see this thread going anywhere from a spurs perspective.

Not too different to Martial in that he can play wide or down the middle, and like Martial I don't see him coming to us as his club won't want to strengthen a rival.

If he would strengthen a team like us why are Liverpool so keen to get rid of him ?

I can never see his name without singing Walk of Life

"Here comes Johnny singing oldies, goldies
Divock Origi, baby, what I say"

Poch of Life? Might have legs :sneaky:

I think it's less that he's not good enough for them and more that he doesn't fit their style.

Klopp doesn't seem to like playing with a proper number 9 like we do. He prefers smaller technical players who will rotate through that position.

Personally, I wouldn't mind him here, particularly at Wembley. He's got pace, power and he's decent technically instead of just being the typical big lump of a forward. He'd offer us something different to Kane and could even play the Son role as well, off Kane imo.
He's not a number 9 though as his finishing can be pretty awful. If we were to use him there it would be massively dissapointing.

Also I think that's just what Klopp is doing with his current iteration of players. He clearly likes to use a good number 9 of he's got one given all of what we saw during the Dortmund days.

Slight difference between Martial and Balde who you name and Origi. The first two are both fantastic players with the potential to be devestating. Origi is f**king shite and looks to have the potential to tear up league 1.
"Potential to tear up Ligue 1"

Except the last time he was in Ligue 1 he was voted as the worst player of the season.

A loan move for Origi, how pathetic, one wonders what the likes of Dele and Harry Kane think on how this transfer window is playing out.

Very happy that we have brought in a player of the quality of Sanchez and look likely to bring in at least three players of quality (Aurier, Sando, Barkley) ?

Modric was voted worst player in la La Liga in 2013.
To be fair to Modric that "award" was bullshit. It's a fan based vote and everybody knows Real Madrid have the most fans. It should have been an award for who the fickle, dipshit, plastic Madridistas were most pissed off at that particular moment.

The inquiry into this guy, like the Benteke one, clearly demonstrates the desperation going on at Levy towers right now. This is what comes of leaving your business this late in the window.

Scraps from the rich clubs tables.
