Do Spurs need to upgrade on Hugo Lloris?

I think if people watched 100% of Chelsea, United, Atletico, Real... you would see the same small errors cropping up. I've seen plenty of games where I could have expected David de Gea to do better than he did, on certain goals.

Is Lloris perfect, no. Would I change him for a variable of a different keeper who may or may not settle, no.

I always remember the game against Southampton a few years ago when we were being overrun for the first 20 minutes. On a goal kick he put the ball on the 6 yard box, and then instead of kick it, walked out to his 18 yard line and balled out the entire team. We then smashed them.

I don't get all the negative comments for the OP.

There seems nothing wrong with asking it - the answer may be 'no'.

There have been a few times HL has looked a little suspect this season, more often than previous years.

As others have suggested, it could be more to do with other things than HL himself, but I don't see the problem in posting this.
If people disagree strongly with something they'll respond accordingly, whats your problem with that ?

Lets face it, the OP knows full well there would be some people reacting in the way they have, and he understands that, but he's posted it nonetheless in a bid to drive traffic to his site.
That alone suggests he's not that bothered about the responses, just the clicks, so I'm not sure why anyone else is.

I fucking despair when i see spurs fans saying we should replace Lloris.

He is the best goalkeeper we have had in my lifetime by a country mile!!

Fucking Gomes?!?
I can only hope the funny ratings are from others being more aware of your dry, sarcastic wit than myself...but if you were serious, the men in white jackets will be round shortly...!!!

There is some merit to asking the question, this is the best Spurs team since 1987 in my opinion but we have two inherent weaknesses that everyone is starting to pick up on. 1. Eric Diers one pace and he is being exposed with errors and 2. Lloris kicking game and distribution. If I had a £1 for every time Lloris chipped the ball to the 1/2 way line to our full backs and the ball either went out or created pressure on us I could fund the replacement for Dier! That said City tried to solve this with Bravo and looked what happened so could be the case of careful what you wish for! Love Hugo, but hate his kicking and distribution.
