What's new

Do you think we'll ever see Zokora's name on the scoresheet?

He scores a goal every 102 games at the moment. (That includes internationals)

Without internationals he scores a goal every 78 games.

So we maybe waiting sometime

He's bound to score, it's a numbers game, so if he keeps trying he'll get there.

As for on the pitch, it's looking very unlikely.

once he has figured out that by hitting the target increases the chances of you scoring, those numbers will come in handy.

OG.. probaly Dawson clearance off his back

Keano put him through 1-on-1 against Middlesbrough in the Cup - when we were 2-0 up (*cough* after Keano changed the game *cough*)

And his finish was woeful. He slapped it across goal with pretty much the entire things at his mercy.

That was his moment. He blew it.

When the crowd cries "shoot" I do my best Willem Dafoe in Platoon [when the choppers leave him behind] impression, whilst screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Really cuts your knees up on those ****ing seats.

But worth it.

Anyone that shouts for him to shoot certainly can't be in either the Park Lane or Paxton stands. Trust me - when I'm in the Park Lane and he lines up to shoot me and a few hundred others start to duck behind the bloke in front.................

I don't even want to see his name on the teamsheet.
Glad that African's Cup coming, hope he never regains his place after the African Cup.

Anyone who doesnt want to see him in the team based on his recent form (including a decent centreback showing) should be stabbed in the eye for wasting their eyesight.

On a side note I predict (and mark my words) that Didi will score a goal at the city of Manchester stadium in 2008, in a month beginning with the letter 'M'.

After watching him put in shit performance after shit performance up until about two weeks ago, I'd gladly let you stab me in the eye if I never have to see him play again.

Once we sign some midfielders he hopefully won't be in the team so seeing him on the scoresheet won't be an issue. I think once he gets back from the African Nations he may find himself struggling for starts.

Zokora is a good player that was not until recently playing well - then we could say that about all our players - recently -

Based on his past, recent and present form I would rather see him amywhere other than in a Spurs shirt.

He was truly awful against City on Sunday and I'm really interested to know when his recent decent centre back showing was? If it was against Anderlecht then I have to say that positionally that was the worst performance from a central defender I have ever seen. He spent the entire 90 minutes totally out of position and watching Dawson frantically defend around him.

what game was it were zokora smashed one and it was going for the top corner of the goal, the only reason why it wasnt scored was because of great goal keeping. Im sure i didnt dream that.

Saying all this even in bloody pro evo 2008 i havent scored with him yet, ive even started yelling SHHOOOOTT at the tv screen, one day in hope i might score with him.

I'm afraid you did.

He scored twice in four seasons and 124 appearances at Genk, and that's your lot.

2 ways we'll see his name..

1) Zokora (OG)

2) after we sell him and he scores on a return to WHL with his new team... urmm .. I predict Wigan. A 30 yard screamer to draw 1-1.

Unlikely as he hasn't scored yet in his 71 appearences for IC.

I'm not sure when they leave for the ACN but if he's still around for the reading FA cup game that will be his earliest opportunity to play 78 games.
