Does anyone in our team excite you?

I think we can all agree that this season something has been missing.

More often than not, it's been turgid football, boring and unimaginative. Is this because of our lack of exciting players?

When Modric, Bale, VDV and even the old Lennon used to get on the ball, the crowd would rise to their feet and expect something to happen. Now we have no players (except possibly Eriksen) who get me the least bit excited at games.

Lamela seems to have something about him that he likes a dribble and to attack the defender but we haven't seen enough of him. If the crowd aren't excited how can we expect there to be the atmospheres we have seen in the past? We seem to be lacking a spark in favour of "functional" players that have taken away the identity of the club.

We have always had at least one player, even in our shitter days that would get the crowd going, ginola, gazza, villa and ardilles, hoddle, bale etc. sadly we don't have that and it's affecting the club as a whole badly

For me, all of our new signings excite me, maybe except Soldado (even though support him) and Paulinho...

Lamela, Eriksen, Chiriches, Capoue and even Chadli excited me when I see them starting

Lloris. He's the one player of ours I really like at the moment.

Outside of that, not really. Eriksen occasionally. Lamela has the potential to be an exciting player but he's not in the team and hasn't been all season so god knows whether he'll reach it with us.

Jan is pretty sexy. I like his hair. And I reckon Demebele has a nice cock. All muscley and veiny.

Apart from that, no.

Not one of them, we are too pedestrian, we lack pace, flair and creativity in midfield so badly.

I've been thinking this for a while - the only one with the potential I think is Lamela but whether we will ever see that looks increasingly doubtful

The weird thing is, I've seen so little of lamela that he doesn't really seem to be a spurs player yet? Sort of like in limbo.

I've seen eriksen do things that excite me and I think he will grow into a top class player. On his his day Ade can excite as well.

I agree, but I think a lot of that is down to the fact that we don't know our players very well. Our team is unrecognisable really. Until we get our flair players flaring (or even playing) this wont change.

Eriksen has that little extra that excites me. Hopefully Lamela has it too but not seen it yet. Still think Soldado is an interesting player...

Sandro, love his passion. Holtby too. I love watching the quick passes between out attackers... we don't see that so much anymore

I love Lamela and his skills, we need to see more of him! And less of Townsend & Bentaleb. Rotation blah blah blah

i tried to make this point last week i.e. that for £100m we might have acquired an exciting player but was told that i was being impatient.
