The last time someone made comments about YP Lee on this site I lost my rag and got a warning off of A+C.
This time...........let's just say that if I could be bothered to let my mouth run off against those who doubt, I think I would be banned from this site for some time.

Lee's a quality full-back. He'll make a fantastic back-up for anyone we get in as first choice.
If full-backs were only judged on their ability to get up and down the pitch he'd be in the top three in the world, if we widened that to include defending he'd be in the top six in the Premiership (6th in fact, imo of course), if they're judged on the whole package (which of course they must be) then Lee becomes a good quality solid journey man, he'll rarely let you down, but he won't contribute much either.
He's got a great attitude though.

As with most of these things neither of the extremes are true.
He's not world class. A world class left back would be much more comfortable on his left foot to start with and would contribute alot more going forwards.
Equally he is not rubbish. A rubbish left back wouldn't be as defensively competent as Lee and wouldn't show the awesome fitness levels that he has.
He's a good player. We could do better but we could do a lot lot worse.
