Doubt Berardi is the mysterious player from Italy. The reason being Rob said after looking up the player on youtube that he wanted him, and no one watching Berardis Clips will ever say that :ROFLMAO: Worst highlights ever surely!

This is what I saw - and I watched about 5 different highlights vids of him on YT.

Not a perfect player in general play by any means, but he has a great left foot - can put the ball in the box from set pieces, crosses from the wing well and can thump them from range. That said, he seems to have racked up an awful lot of penalties in his lofty goal tallies.

if you put an andros townsend package on YT you'd also think the same

Other than some very tenuous press links and JJ saying we are generally in for Italian we don't really know we are in for Beradi though. He's just the highest profile name that has pros and cons to debate.
In another thread I provided my case to believe it's Chiesa.
1) Fits the itk of a right sided player, one Rob wouldn't necessarily know but who he'd be impressed by with youtube, and is italian.
2) He was a standout at the U21 tournament, which we supposedly heavily scouted.
3) He can play both wings, attacking mid and up front. Versatility is well regarded by Poch. He just fits our MO. He is young and has a high ceiling, he is at the point where is value is about to jump up if he starts doing well.
4+) He is brilliant with both feet, has a great touch and skills, appears to have a great football IQ, puts in a shit, uses his body incredibly well for his build, and is pacy (which we need).

Overall, he reminds me of a young Hazard (when at Lille), and i'd love to have him. He'll be out of our reach, soon.

I would love him as well but with them selling bernardeschi, I can't see them selling another one of their better players

No doubt that will make him a SC favorite. @Archibald&Crooks will soon have a favorite new player.

You play too much Football Manager, and don't watch enough Serie A.

I think he has potential, and was exciting a few years back. But he is not some sought after wonderkid. None of the Italian giants or other European elite have signed him, have they?

Are you female ? as one can never play too much Football Manager!

I don't want to pooh-pooh your theory, but....

Chiesa would be my guess. That is based on very little, other than I know we have watched him in the past.

But to quote my self "we watch hundreds of players".

Ok NOW we're talkin!

I've not seen enough of Berardi to pass comment on his ability but to be fair his stats read well. That said, Chiesa looks a nice little player and would be right along the lines of the kinda player we need to add IMO.

I have in fact seen Chiesa play. I didn't really view him as a player for Tottenham, but the truth is last season was his very first in serie A, he was promoted from the youth team last summer, so there isn't a whole lot of information to go off of.

I would say he for certain fluctuated a lot last season between the very poor to the very, very good, but that could just be normal for a kid in his first season of senior footie. At least it shows that his ceiling is at an acceptable level.

He is a crazy versatile player for multiple positions on the right side of the pitch, but he is mainly right footed and I would have thought we would be looking at left footed players. Minor detail.

Really though, I'm not actually arguing against Chiesa, I'm more saying that we maybe too little information about him to have a very clear idea about how exactly he would fit in with Pochettino.

I was told that he speaks fluent english
Going off his wikipedia page, he attended the best international school in Florence.

Nice editing. £30m in the past for Soldado, Lamela and Sissoko shows we are not afraid to spend money on fees.

No way will we spend £50mil on an unproven teenager.

Levy would just take Poch up to his office and just keep pointing at the academy squad training, whilst twitching and humming loudly.

If you paid two pounds eighty for a cup of coffee you really needed, but it turned out it wasn't that fantastic. Would your logic be to pay a fiver for the next cup of coffee that might or might not satiate you?
