We're not winning the ball high up the pitch. Thats what we normally see regularly, but its not happening because we're not pressing like we normally do.

That's what's different about us at the moment. We've stopped the intense pressing from the front.

His positioning is way off, if not lloris saves that

I know its nice to think goalkeepers should save everything but he was basically 1 on 1 with one of the worlds top strikers 10 yards out. Striker should score 9 times out 10 in reality.

I agree we're not playing horrible, just uninspired. Coulda, woulda, shoulda doesn't matter really. We can still get something out of this but they need to up their game.

At the start of the year we'd have been over the moon with the thought of creating more chances than Dortmund on their own patch. This is the same Dortmund who played us off the park at Wembley with some majestic football. They are much more circumspect and reserved this time around and so are we.

SPurs fans expecting us to thrash Dortmund away as a matter of course are deluded idiots setting themselves up for a fall they will wallow in as they get to moan and bitch when, surprisingly, a team with Weigl, Aubameyang, Yarmalenko et al actually show some quality.

We are searching for form. Maybe the team could use a little support before we stick fucking knives in? Sheesh...

One massive positive this year is Sanchez, looking like a very good piece of business.

We should be 2-0 down really in this game, I don't see a big improvement over the game at the weekend imho. We had a better finish to the half, but we are lucky that aubameyang isn't on his a game........Yet

We're little better than saturday but still there is no energy, no pace, no power, no creativity. Something is not right since Crystal game.

I probably wouldn't be as frustrated if we didn't have a similar performance on Saturday. Yes it's been a bit better but that's probably only because of the lower level of opposition or at least the lower current form. If Dortmund were as good as Arsenal I think we'd be seeing an almost identical performance to Saturday, personally.

There's just something really missing, that click and fluidity between Alli, Eriksen and Kane is just non-existent.
We are so reliant on them as our options are limited Kane isn't fit, erikson looks like his head is still in Denmark and alli has been nowhere near last year's levels.

So what did I write that justified that scathing post? I said we weren't horrible, just uninspired and could still get something from this game. Sheesh indeed.

I'd have said before then - We have only turned up in a few games this season, by and large certainly in the league it's the same as previous seasons.

Hard to do that if the wingbacks keep dropping into a back 5 so quick.leaves us light in midfield.
