With Downing out of form and getting booed by his own fans can you see a january bid for him?

I think we could get him for a bit less than we offered last time and with bale behind him would be a awesome left side.

A good player but a grade A a**hole. I doubt Downing will ever leave 'Boro (as long as they stay up) because he enjoys being the big fish in the small pond there.

Arouna Kone is a striker, personally I dont rate him from the limited amount I've seen.

I'd like to see us go for Zhirkov, wouldnt mind Arshavin either as he can play on the right or up front. They have both been awsome or Russia, would probably be affordable and are still relatively young Zhikov is 24 and I think Arshavin's 26. You'd struggle to find that sort of quality in terms of international experience, I think the Russian pair would transform this Spurs team.

Downing is pap. Well, he's not pap, but he's no where near as good as he's made out to be. Far, far better players out there for the £8m-£10m he'd cost. Bale, out of position, is better than him.

Good shout on Vicente. No chance with Silva but he is keeping Vicente out of that side now and maybe we would stand a chance. A couple of years ago he was a superb player, but has struggled recently with injury.

We've got no chance of getting any of them. Vicente and Silva wouldn't come and Porto would want silly money for Quaresma.
