The amusing thing is, when we played Boro last season and they scored, he kissed his badge in front of the East stand (i think) to show how much he a) loves Boro and b) doesn't want to come to Spurs.

I guess he's kicking himself now. And probably missing.

Although to be fair to him, he always does well in the fantasy leagues and has lots and lots of assists every season. He's a good player but he's probably not going to take us to the level needed to reach the top 4. Maybe.

A lot better than people who apparently judge him on his England appearances seem to think; he puts in a phenomenal number of crosses and contributes a fair share of goals. That said, I think Bale will be at least as effective, and from what I've seen of Sevilla I'm not convinced he's a Ramos-type LM.
