Any idea if we are actually interested or is it only Man City that's the realistic landing spot?

I'd be very surprised if we weren't interested. I think he was on AVB's list when he first came, but I can't actually remember or guarantee that. Sounds like there's a lot of interest in him though so it'd be very difficult.

Great, thanks for sharing.

I'm hoping to see us make a "gamble" prospect signing every window based off AVB's scouting/judgment going forward. Levy, so long as he's in charge of dealings, will have the primary say, but AVB has at least earned the opportunity to diagnose a talent he feels would fit perfectly into his plans, and should be rewarded with said talent, so long as it's not a completely ridiculous fee.

Is this the same list he gave to chelsea? If so we could see another oscar scenario, since they still use avb's scouting report.

Another thing to think about is Bernard could be AVB's new "Willian."

They share very similar skillsets and Bernard is still within range of our transfer fee whereas Willian never was.

It'd be a good show of faith from Levy to get this done if AVB is as big on him as he was on Willian.

I refuse to get excited over what is essentially a 'Twitter Rumour'. The kids a good player that could be great, but I'm gonna wait for some evidence that's abit more solid that we're interested. Getting hyped up at this stage is just likely to lead to .

Apparently Sevilla and City have agreed a deal for Navas. Do City really need to pursue Bernard?

Bernard - in the Brazil squad for Confederations Cup.
Willian - not in the Brazil squad for Confederations Cup.

Interesting. Who knows if that's the right decision by the manager but it's interesting nonetheless.

When does the Confederations Cup start? We'd probably need to secure him before that if we're to stand any chance.

Not getting hopes up as it bears a resemblance to the Oscar deal, fingers crossed though, he looks the bollox!

What happened to all of those rumors that Navas had some serious home-sickness and would never leave Spain?

Also, while I think he's a decent player, I don't think he's much different from Aaron Lennon.

They've extremely similar records.

Apparently he's said he wants to try another league now.

Isco (maybe) and now, if rumours are to be believed, Navas, among their whole host of other attacking mids.
