We've done very well this season but we are now at the cut-throat part of the season on two fronts, and the narrative that we always fall short is something I'd love us to dispel. A win over Chelsea would go a long way to doing that. And despite all the talk about the cup not mattering for our trajectory, it would be a great boost to players who've never won anything - especially in a Spurs shirt - to win it. It's time for this team to realize their potential rather than talk about the rosy future we could/should enjoy.

I'm not sure why you left Man U out. We are only 4 points behind them and they don't exactly have an easy run in. They won't miss out on top 4, but they are by no means guaranteed 2nd spot!

Weighing it all up I think it will be close, on paper anyway. I think we definitely have the hardest games of the three so tough to catch Liverpool. But can we hang on to 4th, I know it’s a big game, but Chelski away is even bigger and k ow becomes a real 6 pointer! Even we can even get a draw we could seal 4th, but loose it and I would be worried with our run in vs theirs?

You do realize they're only ahead of us because we have a game in hand?
Technically, they have to catch us, not us them.

..counting down how long before we beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

It's got to be sometime, so why not make it in 9 days time?
I have a horrible feeling that we'll batter thet but still end up losing to some slimy tactics or a long range deflection

But we could lose that and still finish above them. It's that fixture on Sat 5th May that is great (Chelsea vs Liv). If we can stay within a point or two of both then beat relegated WBA away and Leicester at home then we will be fine

This is key - staying within range of Liverpool would mean that, provided we don't do anything stupid in the last few games, then that game between Chelsea and Liverpool will serve us a boost whatever the outcome. I'd say that Chelsea need at least 4 points from their games against us and Liverpool to have a shout of finishing top 4 (unless us or Liverpool implode, which Liverpool almost did last season in a similar position). If we can just avoid defeat at their place next week then we're almost there.

It would be great to avoid defeat. In a sense it's like the Juve game. They have to win or 4th is all but gone for them realistically. Meaning they have to try to score
