Following information initiated by France Football, Eden Hazard has reacted in the Tribune. The French newspaper announced that Eden Hazard has an agreement with Tottenham.

"Reportedly, the Belgian international has 21 years of age agreed with the London club, which meets their aspirations, since it probably will participate in the next Champions League. As he wished he had time game and not be drowned in a bloated workforce, the prodigy Lille chose the Spurs to Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, all candidates for transfer to the spring. It remains now to the two clubs to agree on the amount of the transaction, "said France Football.

Eden Hazard on the board of the Tribune did not deny. "Maybe it will be Tottenham. This is a big English club. I said I will go to England and there are very good players."

Sounds promising, but I don't like the may-be. Although he's probably been told by a few people in the deal not to say he's joining anyone else yet.

If we are to believe we were going to spend £30m+ on Aguero last Jan, and his buy-out clause is ~£33m, then why is everyone worried about the fee. Yes yes, different players etc but we have the money and Lille can't dick about so much that they go over £33m.

The only thing that seemingly needs to be sorted out is the initial payment and subsequent ones etc.

Either way, this will be official fairly quickly or it's complete bullshit. No announcements weeks away, imo. Maybe a week or so. Why the fuck else would Levy risk losing the major talent currently in Europe?

He was being mysterious, mischievous and coy about his future a couple of weeks ago, so I doubt he'd throw out the name of the club he is going to, right now. It's more likely that this is him being slightly mischievous once again by giving little red herring teasers.

I reckon he might be going with the wages at Chelsea. Hope I'm wrong though, dying for this to happen, but refuse to get excited, as hard as it is !

Lille: Daniel, one of the hottest properties in world football has informed us he would like to join your club, and we are prepared to let him go for the right price. I trust you know his value. What are you prepared to pay to take him off our hands?

Levy: 5 million, structured over 5 annual payments and Jermaine Jenas, final offer.

Well, that is going to get him a good reputation...don't believe this is at all likely.

Levy: Please come Jose
Jose: No.
Levy: Pleeeeease, Harry's England bound and you're awesome.
Jose: No.
Levy: Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease
Jose: Only if you get me Hazard...

The above conversation definitely took place.

Why would he use us to get higher wages from Chelski (or any other club)? We can't match then anyway.

Going by his comments he wants regular first team football (amongst other things) and he'll get that with us.

EDIT: I think I've misread your post, my bad.
