Although we saw him on the downward trail of his career he normally gave 100%.
Never forget that spear tackle on Ray (Charlie Dimmock) Parlour who was playing for Middlesbrough at the time - turned him 180 degrees upside down so that he landed on his head In front of the East Stand if I remember! .
