Returning to Tottenham is the best thing for him. If they aren't giving him minutes, then it is best to loan him out to a club that will. Preferably a club that suits Tottenham's style of play.

Stick him in a room with Ryan Mason. Let him point out that the best thing Edwards has going for him could disappear in an instant. Then let him ponder what’s left.

6 minutes as a sub in the entire loan spell i pretty embarassing. Appreciate he was injured during this but if he was good enough and showed enough in training then I'm sure he would have played more.

Let's hope coming back helps.

He still has time, but the clock is running down.
The ability is undoubtedly, there, just the mental maturity needs to catch up. Just hope its not the normal pitfalls of hangers on, late nights out, and thinking it will all come on a plate.
Hope someone sensible can get in his ear, and get him focussed.

Let's not forget some of home grown players didn't emerge until their 20s. Edwards still has a few years

Yes but at the same time he needs to listen to the feedback given to him and learn from it. It seems he's not prepared to work off the ball from the reports which is something he will need to learn if he is to play in Poch's team.

The situation is not nearly as clear for Marcus Edwards. “Mini-Messi,” considered one of the most talented youngsters of his generation, had an opportunity to prove himself in the Championship while on loan at Norwich, but a combination of injury and personal issues scuppered that loan -- he barely played for the Canaries and his loan was terminated early. Now, Kilpatrick suggests that his future will be determined this summer, but that there’s a chance that Edwards’ well-documented “authority issues” and suggestions of attitude problems might result in Spurs deciding to cut him loose or sell him.
