Emerson Royal confirms interest from Atletico Madrid

Tottenham right-back Emerson Royal has confirmed that Atletico Madrid have made contact over a possible summer transfer.

"Yes, it has come to my attention that Atletico are interested in me," Emerson said. "But now, I'm in a good moment at Tottenham.
"I don't know what will happen in the future. I like that other teams are watching my football."

Would be good to shift him on and bring in someone like Isiah Jones or Djed Spence. Doherty seems to have found his feet now but Emerson isn't a wingback so that needs to be sorted.
