It runs until 2016, when he'll be 32/33. He'll probably want to play on for another year or two so if he doesn't play well enough to be in the team then he won't get enough money from anyone to warrant a contract with anyone.

That makes sense to us. To Ade it probably means he should start trying to play well some time next year and until then he can keep milking it....

I don't care if this story is even half true. This guy is fucking waste of footballing DNA and should fuck off! Sick to death of him.

Hey, I'm all for Ade staying if he gets his shit together, accepts that competition is a reality, and players should not expect special treatment just because they're buddies with their manager who'll happily grant them whatever they want. Sadly, I don't see this happening and AVB was totally right to kick his ass down to the development squad as a result. It was just too bad that it lead to his own downfall due to misplaced trust on part of Levy.

I think it's one hot year for Ade followed by a cool year - next year we'll be going for that title!

I think it's one manager that plays him in a system that works, followed by one that doesn't.
Harry did.
AVB didn't
Sherwood did.
Pochettino isn't.

It's no coincidence Adebeyor scored more under Harry and Sherwood. Even soldado would have eventually.
4231 seems to favour the players in the 3 behind scoring rather than the centre forward. How many did bale and Ronaldo get as opposed to Benzema?
Chelsea last season, Eto, Shurle, Torres? None of them scored many goals, Oscar, Hazard and other midfielders got them.

Our problem is that none of our squad are in the same league for goals and assists in those forward 3 positions. The 2 behind them are little more than 5th and 6th defenders.
It's why we're so boring and score so few goals.
But Poch still does it game after game.

If he did feel that he was a scapegoat at Spurs, Wouldn't he WANT to leave?
Maybe he wants to show its not him it's the system and he wants to stay and play in a system that works.
If he goes the next player in will have the exact same trouble.

If he will not leave find a reason to send him on gardening leave. The man is poison that is the problem, our other strikers may not have his talent but at least they want to work hard.

I think poison is a bit strong tbh.
