Hey, I'm all for Ade staying if he gets his shit together, accepts that competition is a reality, and players should not expect special treatment just because they're buddies with their manager who'll happily grant them whatever they want. Sadly, I don't see this happening and AVB was totally right to kick his ass down to the development squad as a result. I think it's one manager that plays him in a system that works, followed by one that doesn't.
Harry did.
AVB didn't
Sherwood did.
Pochettino isn't.

It's no coincidence Adebeyor scored more under Harry and Sherwood. Even soldado would have eventually.
4231 seems to favour the players in the 3 behind scoring rather than the centre forward. How many did bale and Ronaldo get as opposed to Benzema?
Chelsea last season, Eto, Shurle, Torres? None of them scored many goals, Oscar, Hazard and other midfielders got them.

Our problem is that none of our squad are in the same league for goals and assists in those forward 3 positions. The 2 behind them are little more than 5th and 6th defenders.
It's why we're so boring and score so few goals.
But Poch still does it game after game.
