Are those wiki stats true about his goals?

18 goals in 79 games for Monaco! Who Arsenal bought him from? Imagine if we were linked with a player with that record last season now....

POTL - terms all agreed, so this is done and dusted...maybe.

not the big name i was expecting in regards to the blue and yellow business, but nevertheless ill be happy to see him lining up instead of crouch

Adebayor would be an outstanding purchase for a non-rich non-CL club like us. Really the biggest name we could realistically hope for. He's played for Arsenal and Real Madrid, scored lots of great goals, and is in his prime.

I wouldnt read much into the whole B&Y malarky.

I kinda forget as well that he's only 27. Still in his prime years. Nice to be getting a top calibre player that's not either still in his learning phase or in his twilight years. Hopefully we can be the club he settles at.

We need to think of a new song... Not sure if the elephant song will still go down too well

Any clues as to how this loan to buy deal will work if we do decide to make it permanent? Are City tied in to pay half of his remaining contract?

I can't see this happening. Not after City refused to let us have Bellamy...

Different situation now. They need to get rid of him and he wants to come here. They may also assume they'll finish above us this season so don't mind giving him to us.
