I'm not that happy to be honest but right now I'd take Henry over Crouch. I'm pretty sure even Harry wouldn't start the giraffe instead of the elephant

Why not just ask him where he heard that? If it were true it'd probably be on here quicker than your friend could text you and would have been on SSN for a while.

Why not just ask him where he heard that? If it were true it'd probably be on here quicker than your friend could text you and would have been on SSN for a while.

There's no point asking him coz I know for a fact he will say it's came from his cousin Joe Allen.

Redknapp is quoted in an article on the front page saying we're looking to bring him in on loan. I haven't heard anything like that before so I get the feeling from that, that it must be close to being agreed otherwise he would have kept quiet. There's only another fortnight to go anyway so any loan is going to happen soon if at all.

It's the way that Harry is openly talking about him and not just a few words saying he likes him but why Spurs fans will love him and how he will have no worries in hadling him. Harry wouldnt bother to say these sort of things if we were not close to finalizing it as he would look rediculous. At least im hoping and praying this is the case.

I see, to be fair though Harry also talked openly about bringing Sol Campbell in on loan (although to be fair he qualified that by saying if he was anywhere other than tottenham he would have done it in an instant....which proved poor judgement actually as Sol was useless last year)

I hope things are tied up and announced soon, I am just some what cautious if the bulk of our belief stems from what POTL has said because at the end of the day he is "just" an ITK regardless of how respected his information is and I remember a few weeks ago people acting as if Diarra was already signed based on what POTL had said and thus far we have still not heard anything official.

I really hope we can tie this up, he is perfect for us and any money saved on transfer fee this window could actually be used to further upgrade our strike force (then we really will be talking)

Just believe nothing until its on the official site or you'll go mental. The amount of players we had apparently signed in the last few years is unreal.

I'd go further and say read only the front page. The more credible info is reposted there and most of that is probably rubbish. Don't spend too much time reading that and take anything without quotes as an unfounded rumour.

I'm not quite sure why everyone seems to think it's close to being done. Strikes me as paper talk with the odd quote from Redknapp merely saying there are talks.

We've been in 'talks' with many a player in recent years only for nothing to come of it, and with Adebayor's wages, I just wouldn't think of it as a certainty just yet.
