People seeming to overlook the mess AvB made at Chelsea, (more misplaced powerplays?)

History suggests that he can't handle experienced pros.

I'm seeing the same signs in Poch.

Ade's been quiet under Poch, and well behaved. I think it says he can handle them, but there's just something missing as to why they're both being pleasant but he's hardly playing

Worst signing in the history of our great club. There are many things I dislike about Levy but getting this **** in tops the lot.

I feel shame that he represents us. Utter shame but in saying that I almost hope he stays and rots in the stands, or whatever he crawls under when we play. It won't embarrass him of course but it will show him up to the rest of the football word that he can sink lower. Ideally I would like to see him sacked for a minor infraction.

You're a joke!

Why is that a joke? I've been a season ticket holder at the club for over 20 years and put a lot of money into the club. He's just taking the piss out of us. For example, name 1 other footballer that has cited a "curse" as a reason for bad form? No one believed that right?

Just because you've never heard of it before, doesn't mean it isn't "real". Might benefit from reading this:

You show me the quote from him where he categorically says that its because of a curse as a reason why he's playing badly. You do that and I will ban myself from this forum, you don't and you ban yourself. Deal?

He doesn't say what you initially say he said. He was asked about his relationship with his mother. He never said juju is making him play worse. Plotting doesn't mean it's actually happened?

But then he went to Africa to deal with this situation...
So I guess you're right - it doesn't say that it made him play worse.
It actually made him not play...at all...

by the time he went back to Africa (Dec 10th), he hadn't played for a month anyway (Nov 9th, Leicester in FA cup).

People seem to be in a rage with him because he's not in the squad. He doesn't pick the team!

It was his annual 2 week mid season holiday (nobody else gets one but hey ho). Dont know why we are discussing him anyway, doubt we will see much of him in a Spurs shirt again thank God.

Granted he's been a bit of a pain in the arse in recent years, but it's a bit out of order for people to be frothing at the mouth at him for doing nothing wrong.

Benny did a million times less work for us in the last 2 years or so and he didn't get even a tenth of the hate.

Was it actually confirmed that he was away dealing with his mother and Juju, or is that your opinion. Not once has he said that his mum doing juju on him affected him playing football. You are just making that up. You still haven't provided a credible quote of him saying this.

Cozzo - why so mad? Look - I like Adebayor. Really. I do. Also - I don't care if you ban yourself or not. Relax. You asked for quotes - I tried to offer some. No harm done. Here is a timeline of some events. Not too hard to put two and two together. Adebayor has been pushed out of every club he has played for. Talented? Sure. Head case? Absolutely.

November 20:

"I never sacked my mum from the house, she decided to leave the house," he said. "But how am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one telling everyone that my work will not go forward, so I will just be on my side and do my thing.

"They should stop talking, talking. They should stop doing juju on me; they should leave me alone. They don't listen to me so I don't know how to solve this now."

December 1:
"[Emmanuel] has been brainwashed by these Muslim alfas - spiritual men - who prophesise when he scores goals and why he is not playing well," Kola told the Sun on Sunday.

"They have convinced him his sister and mother put juju curses on him. My mother is very sad. Every day she is crying. I just talked to her on the phone and she was crying again."

December 10: We can confirm that Emmanuel Adebayor has been given permission to return home for personal reasons. This is a private matter and so we will not be providing any further comment."

Nothing is concrete is it, we dont have access to training and the inner sanctum of the dressing room and the like. But if you look at evidence over time i think you get a vague picture of whats going on. The guy is such a talent and thats why i think a lot of people are frustrated with him. Imagine him in form and really wanting it with Harry tucked in behind him, it would potentially be on of the best partnerships in the league.

I honestly just think hes a lazy person. You get them in all walks of life why should football be different. i just want the top earner at the club i support to be fully dedicated. is it too much to ask?

It would take some really fucking impressive juju to make him play even worse than he has done since mid February last year.

He had 5 goals and 2 assists from mid-feb to the end of the season (12 PL games.)

http://www.espnfc.co.uk/player/16684/emmanuel-adebayor?season=2014

In fact, since mid Feb, he's had:

rest of PL 2013/14 - 12 Games, 5 goals, 2 assists
PL 2014/15 so far - 12 Games, 2 goals, 1 assist

So since "mid February last year" = 24 games, 7 goals, 3 assists.

That's a PL goal every 3.42 games.

So even on the worst form of his career, when many think he's lazy and shit, he's more prolific than Les Ferdinand was. Plus Mido, Eriksen, Pavlyuchenko, Iversen, Kanoute, Dempsey, Barmby, Crouch...

Just seen that "apparently" Man utd are offering to pay up RVP'S last year of his contract to get his wages off there books and so he can leave. It might take just that to Adebayor out of our club… Wonder if Levy would consider doing that… Probably not but you never know!
