You still playing for them?
Nah.. Shame, that the team broke up tbh cause it was the best experience I had playing football for them, with some of my best mates and we pretty much raped everyone as we had some very good players for colts level. I think maybe 3 or 4 IIRC played for the county at some point and there were 1 or 2 that didn't take football so seriously/didn't realise they had talent that could have also played at a high level. Went an entire season unbeaten and then threw away a 3 goal lead in the cup final and lost on penalties.

Terrible day for me, missed the first penalty, having buried every other one that season and had a really bad match while a scout from Ipswich Town had come to the match to scout me and our CM (who was injured in the warm-up :ROFLMAO:). I'm an Ipswich lad with a Tottenham mad family, so I'd obviously have loved to play for them, as it's my second club, but luckily/unluckily I was already on a 6 week trial with Norwich and was successful. I took some serious stick from my mates at the time, but who's gonna turn down that opportunity? Was worth being called scum by literally every lad in my year, other than the one Norwich supporter that everyone bullied that suddenly wanted to be my friend.. Was having none of that though! lol

Not a lot on the fans forum boards - first post gives it away I guess

- Sonupe looked good in 4-5 mins on the park.

- Pleased for Snoopy not to be coming on at 2-0 and 3-0 down

He's come off the bench for 3 successive matches but only for a short time. Until he plays for a longer time I doubt if St Mirren watchers will be able to make a judgement on him. Hopefully that will come soon, but he's probably learning something even from short appearances

Sonupe is alive! On the bench for St Mirren in a tough match vs Celtic. Celtic are top of the table by 5 points, St. Mirren are bottom by 4 points.

13 minutes off the bench v Celtic.

Difficult to make any real impression

Couldn't tell much from that little amount of game time. One speedy run that he was muscled out of and some decent defensive work . The latter wasn't surprising as St Mirren were set up to defend but going 2 down didn't help them.

Celtic are similar in quality to a lower Prem side, if he didn't get overrun against them as an 18 year old I'd say it's a good showing. Hopefully he's earning himself some more chances for the rest of the season.

Its good experience I'd agree. Problem is that he's not played much - most of them short cameos of 15 minutes or so. Think the manager needs to be more bold and play Sonupe - his current group of players has got St Mirren bottom of the SPL. However I'm not confident things will change which is a shame.
