Hey everyone, was just looking at the two week period, april 10th to the 24th when we play Arse, Man U AND Chelsea and was just wondering, what everyones thoughts are having to play three of the current top four at the business end of the season, and have we had a run of games like that in recent years at such a crucial stage??? Im hoping we are flying then and the lads will be itching to get out on the pitch, heres hoping we are in a top four spot.......

To be honest, we had to play them home and away and some point in the season, so really it's of little consequence when.

Who knows, depending on the chumps league, they may rest players and we could stand a better chance against them.

Besides, our record against the top four last season wasn't too bad - it was the other 15 teams we seem to fuck our season up with over the last couple of years.

We played Pool and Scum in succession last season I think. Did alright then, a 4-4 and a 2-1 win.

The fact that two of those games are at home is a big advantage though. Chelsea haven't beaten us at the Lane for a couple of seasons, and playing Arse is massive in itself. At home, in front of our fans, it becomes bigger.

We put in a good performance for 60 minutes at Old Trafford last season. There's no reason we can't do it for 90 this season.

Also, it means we'll have gotten most of the shit out of the way by this stage, so won't be playing any teams scrapping.

It's May I find interesting. There are barely any 'competitive' matches with all the big guns kind of seperate (more or less) and the same said for us, City and Everton. In fact, I can't recall any sides that i think will be in the top seven playing each other in May. Which means points on the board could be crucial. Should also make for an interesting relegation battle.
