Is it possible for members of the public to go to the Enfield training ground and do spurs hold open training sessions, where people can go and watch a training session?

If so, is there public transport which goes out there?

Not as far as I'm aware.

Nearest public transport is a bus to Bull's Cross on the A10 or a train to Turkey Street, both of which leave you with a fair walk. Access is via a country lane. This may be why the location was so appealing to the club. You can try spying from the car park at Myddelton House Gardens, but there are very few other options for budding BENs.

I have a feeling that on occasions they will let members of the public in to watch, or at least they used to, but you have to pay for a ticket.

Yeah i remember asking one of the guys on twitter (windy?) who goes a lot. He said the development matches are open to the public. Free to go (?) just need to keep an eye out for the games

You can play five a side there during the week

Edit: That wasn't a joke, you actually can, or could. They run adult leagues at the old training ground and the new one unless wishful thinking got the better of my when I read their email. I'd love to play there one day.

I'm sure that was a sweetening concession in the planning deal with Enfield; there were a whole load of public pitches there before we moved in. Public access to the inner sanctum, though?
