It's funny how some of these managers always wash up somewhere in the Championship. A Chairman somewhere is happy to take a chance on them - Neil Warnock (Mr 'give us some money and i'll put you in the team' - according to Puncheon) has just been named Cardiff manager.
I think it says a lot about the league itself. Not that it's dodgy, just that the 'new manager bounce' - which is often just a club playing at its normal level (rather than underperforming, hence the reason the manager was sacked) - can notch up a few wins and move up the league quite quickly.
Only a few days ago was Allardyce being mentioned as a possible Villa manager, as if these allegations mean nothing.
