Not terribly disimilar to the current squad, but players like James, Neville, Campbell, Lampard and Owen moved on.

I personally thought he had a terrible game last wednesday...only player who was up for it was Crouch!

Going back to the original poster with the list of the England squad...I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thinks Lampard doesnt make the cut...he too was shocking on Wednesday and it proved that him and Gerrard can't play together...AGAIN

With Robbo being dropped ( another mcclaren clanger) I would've started with James ahead of Carson...so much for the 'experience' McClaren wanted!

I hope a young brilliant central defender emerges in the next couple of years and i hope his surname is Nat.

Some players might be playing poor around that time and others might have steped up.
