Guys, i can confirm that John Burridge is our top target for the goalkeeping coach position. Robbo wants him and spurs have offered him the job, only problem is, he and his wife are settled in Dubai. He trained robbo at leeds when george graham was at the helm, robbo believes this guy can get the best out of him and the spurs board are willing to try anything to get robbo back to his best. COYS!

this is 100 person true info cause i know the guy personally. Seems Robbo literally called him up and said things like "my mind and fitness is gone, only you can put me right Budgie". He's really close to Robbo and i dont think he'll turn us down.

Not at all.

Rumours are that he's told Big Pat to fuck off, and obviously said no to Shilts when he offered. Clem is with England (and obviously hasn't done much good there, despite his best efforts, I'm sure). That doesn't leave many.

I have more of a problem with Robbos form, so if it gets him back to the form he showed in his first season, then I for one will be happy.

Whilst I would have thought there are better coaches out there than Budgie, I'd like to think it couldn't get any worse than the last season and a half.

Player power is out of control. He needs to be told some harsh truths and might not like what he has to do, but that's life I'm afraid. No point hiring your mate who's going to massage your ego and molly coddle you.
