imo Dier is a vital player for this team and how Pochettinho wants us to play....We dont need to sell and certainly don't need to strengthen other premiere league teams.

I think they'll be so much silliness written this closed season, I am pretty confident we'll be keeping all players Pochettinho wants and that includes Dier Alli Eriksen Kane Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose Lloris Wanyama Dembele Lamela... Walker I'm not to sure because of all the speculation but I reckon he'll stay too.

I'd much rather we sell Trippier if we need to sell.

Pretty true piece.....having dier in the team does allow us to switch formations throughout the whole game and I believe is one of the key reasons why were doing so good.
Is he the greatest player ?far from it but that flexibility is key to poch's tactics, same with Alli Eriksen Son ( not as much )all changing places, makes it harder to mark them.

Dier was the lynchpin in midfield before Wanyama. He is also a pretty handy defender and has kept Wimmer out of the team. There is also the team spirit aspect and his relationship with Alli is important to that dynamic. Young, English, hungry and versatile. Why the hell would we sell him to Man U?

Dier is a terrific player we notice when he's not there. Whether it's in a back three or as a defensive midfielder he does well for us. Wouldn't want to lose him to a team trying to catch up with us.
