Last season he was better than at least half the CBs being picked ahead of him. I understand Southgate overlooking him if he played with four at the back, but Dier is a good fit for his system and was at the heart of the team that conceded the fewest goals in the PL over the last 3 months of the season.

He's at least twice the footballer that slabhead is. Southgate is stubborn as fuck with his squad though, doesn't want anyone disrupting the clique.
