How many games has young Mr.Dier started this season? His career isn´t stalling because he´s stuck on the bench, he is involvolved and started most games. Now Tom Caroll has done more charitywork for us than actually playing football but Dier has started most games even some of them has been as a deputy for Alderwiereld.

How long do you think Dier will accept Wanyama being picked over him all the time?
how many times this season has Dier been (a) fit, (b) not in the team -- ie not playing in place of Toby/ in a back three (c) been on the bench and Victor has played DM...

not happened - this story is a fiction

Assuming your reply is not fiction, Where will Dier fit in? Or has he got to wait until someone else is injured? I would expect you to be openly realistic.

Hi mate - my point is that, to date, Dier has not been left out for VW (except for the Man Utd game - which makes sense based on Herrera stuff...ref would have been primed to card ED).

Now, going forward, the question is whether there will be games where Dier will be dropped for VW. That scenario is most plausible when both CD + Dembele and VW are fit and not suspended AND Poch decides he does not want to play 3 at the back AND we don't have two games in a week (so rotation is not an issue).
Will that scenario come up the second half of the season - yes it will, frequency will depend on Europa run, and it is possible that Poch will pick VW over ED.

Now, two points to make in advance of that hypothetical - VW will have to be the better player on the training ground (and Dier has noted himself that he has not been in top form) and Poch will have to make a determination that the team will be better with VW starting. My feeling is that Dier is the better player but his form has been iffy, and, more significantly, Poch believes (see Dec 20th ITK) that Dier, Kane and Alli have all been overplayed the last 1.5 years.

Ultimately my trust is in Poch and I hope Dier (who is my favorite current player) trusts Poch to manage him/ protect him and make him a better player...afterall, under Poch he has become a starter for club and country.

you all know Poch shot down this 'story' almost immediately?

Not sure why it has been brought up again. It was clearly nonsense in the first place.

Getting my defense of Poch in first.
My suspicion is that Poch is looking at 2 line ups for the Chelscum game. One is a 3-5-2 that will involve ED and the other is more of a 4-2-3-1 which is possible would see VW and the GOAT in the middle.
For the record, I'd pick ED in either case but if Poch doesn't pick him, it doesn't mean:
1. He doesn't rate ED in that position
2. ED is going to leave

Cheers!

Chelsea and Bayern Munich are among several leading clubs monitoring Eric Dier’s situation at Tottenham Hotspur in case he seeks to leave White Hart Lane.

The England midfielder is unhappy at the amount of game time that he has been given by Mauricio Pochettino this season and is concerned that it could hamper his international prospects under Gareth Southgate, the new manager.

Lol. He's going nowhere.

This line is ridiculous: "The England midfielder is unhappy at the amount of game time that he has been given by Mauricio Pochettino this season and is concerned that it could hamper his international prospects under Gareth Southgate, the new manager."
He has been involved in a lot of games.

And, as I pointed out somewhere else, if he was to be regarded as a CB, does anyone think he's genuinely terrified about competing against Stones, Smalling, Cahill and Jones?

I haven't got the analysis but I would guess Dier along with Hugo, Jan, Wanyama and Walker have most minutes played for us this season. The story is bollocks.

Dier to Chelsea?...

.. I'm just gonna leave this here to watch for anyone that thinks this might happen.

As much as we did lose our heads a bit in that game I fucking loved seeing us kick the blue scum right up in the air. Anyone got a link to the clip after full time of Dier threatening to kill Fabregas?

Oh and there is no way Dier is leaving. Especially not to Chelsea. Non story.

7. He wouldn't be allowed to leave even if he wanted to, especially during the January window and even more so to a Prem rival.
8. How could he leave Dele?
