Seems the quotes, don't exactly match the headline. Color me shocked.

“I read a lot of things in the newspapers and perhaps there were a few enquiries from clubs, but I had no direct contact or doubts about my future,” he said.

“Last season was complicated for me because of injury, but I feel good now. And I have to thank Tottenham for their help and patience – they have always shown faith in me.

“Now I am on the right path and I want to impose myself in the Premier League.

“A return to Italy one day? I’m still young and my career will be a long one. But, to be honest, all I’m thinking about right now is Tottenham.

“I want to give them my best. I owe them that.”

He seems to have a great attitude this year. I am looking forward to seeing him progress.

Been really impressed with Lamela's attitude since we signed him.

It's also good to see such a talented player with a great work ethic.

great he got such a good goal in the week but really think he should hush it, let his football do the talking for a while.

Lamela needs to learn how to move forward whilst doing his stepover shizzle, might actually go past someone that way.

He needs to toughen up. Liverpool worked him out and played him out of the game. Others will now do the same so he needs to change and adapt to the Premiership fast otherwise he will lose all this new found confidence.

Could become one of the best though if he can adapt.

He's already toughened up a lot; he'll get there.

My concern is Eriksen not toughening up, he's a bit of a feather. Needs to take a leaf out of modder's book.
