Why on earth would we agree to that? We want better squad depth, not getting rid of it.

Why on earth would Watford want a player that hasn't kicked a ball in a year and there is no return date for him to be even near playing again.

Can't see this at all doubt lamela would be to keen. If he is to be sold one day, then it will be back to serial a

I thought he was in Argentina ATM, well according to pics he posted. I don't really see the point in letting him go to Watford. And it would suck to sell him.

He filmed Dele Alli dancing yesterday in the dressing rooms.

He only follows Kaboul from Watford on twitter, so that's bs

Agree to disagree. He's easily in our starting eleven when fit. I'd argue only Eriksen and Kane are better than a fit Lamela. And even that's close.

Lamela when on song is a very good player but to say only Kane and Eriksen are better is a bit of a stretch.

I would sell Lamela before Toby, Jan, Hugo, Kane, Eriksen, Son, Victor, Alli, Sissoko, Dembele and Winks.

Guess which player I was lying about!

Guess I should wait for his return to see if my view that he's a one-footed show pony should be revised. He's a long way behind CE, Dele, Son, both Harrys, Victor and The Mousse in my book.

Rubbish. Barely worthy of the calories it takes to read the link

He wouldn't go to Watford
We wouldn't sell him
He can't pass a medical

I can't see any club taking Lamela until he gets fit. Going by his estimated return date he'll have been injured for almost a year, and - whoever you are - that will take some serious coming back from.

I do still think he's a nice option for us when we play the 4-2-3-1, but it's a bit like Liverpool with Daniel Sturridge. We're probably going to have to set up our squad to cope without him this season, and anything else is a bonus.

He'll be a fantastic option if / when he ever gets fit.

He's just been out for so so long now and it's hit his chances with us a bit as he was established first team starter when he got injured and things have changed quite a lot whilst he's been injured.
