Not looking out of place at all on a pitch containing 2 of the best teams in the world.

Good movement and passing. Taking up good positions. Wamts the ball and wants responsibility. Decent in the build up to the first goal.

And boy, what a sweet technique for his goal.

Damn it, I had England on but they bored me to tears. I nearly hung myself then turned it off. Now sitting in silence. And having a better time.

I had it on radio 5 as I worked on laptop. After 20mins I looked back on what I had written and it was.just this, over and over again:

"England football team makes Jack a dull boy"

interspersed with "Red rum"

unsure why my missus ended up hiding in the bathroom!!

Di Maria and Eric both had the Germans running crazy every time they touched the ball. Credit to Argentina for getting revenge
England on the other hand were just plain BORING.

Good goal from Lamela, but i would like to see him bang a goal in not pass it in..It seems like he does not have a powerful shot. If the keeper can get to his shots they will always be saved because it is always placed.

That hasn't worked too well for Townsend..

Nice goal, and interestingly he scored fro the left.

Didn't watch the whole game, what position did he play ?

In the middle of the 3 (in between Di Maria and Enzo Perez) in a 4231.

i thought presence of mind and confidence to "pass" it into the top corner was more encouraging. but you know what, lets be disappointed in Lamela for not blasting a hole through Neuer.
